Choosing Hair ExtensionsNano Ring, Micro Ring or Tape-In: Which Extensions Suit Your Hair?
How the three methods differ, which hair each one suits, and why the decision is made with your own hair in front of the fitter.

Move-ups, refits and a careful take-out. Extensions grow out with your own hair. Maintenance moves them back up, and removal takes them out without taking your own hair with them.
Every fitting grows down as your own hair grows. At a maintenance appointment the beads or wefts come down, your own hair is brushed through and cleaned up, and the same hair goes back in at the root. Ring fittings in particular are designed to be reused this way.
Removal is the part people worry about. The beads are opened, or the tape is released with a remover, and what comes out is the extension hair, not yours. If you are wearing a fitting someone else put in and it is uncomfortable, that is a conversation worth having before it does damage.
Regular maintenance protects your own hair and makes Remy extensions last longer. Jaz will look at an existing fitting and tell you honestly whether it wants a move-up, a refit or taking out.

No. The beads are opened, or the tape is released with a remover, and what comes out is the extension hair.
Every fitting grows down as your own hair grows, so each one has a point where it wants moving back up. When yours is due depends on how fast your hair grows and the method you are wearing, and Jaz will say at the fitting.
